Day 1 Depart USA for South Africa

Day 2 – 4 Cape Town (3 nights)
Two glorious days exploring the city and environs.Ascend by cable car up Table Mountain and tour the Cape Peninsula. A special treat is a Home Host dinner with a Capetonian family!

Day 5 – 6 North Kruger Park Private Reserve (2 nights)
Wing to Kruger Park with daily game drives that allow for close-up encounters with wildlife.

Day 7 – 8 South Kruger Park Private Reserve (2 nights)
A new part of Kruger, a new lodge to double your game viewing opportunities. Open safari vehicles plunge into the bush in pursuit of the Big 5. Don’t miss the midday walking safari!

Day 9 Kruger/Johannesburg/Tel Aviv
Visit to Pretoria and the Premier Diamond Mine. Overnight flight Thursday to ISRAEL.

Day 10 – 11 Arrive Tel Aviv (2 nights)
Day at leisure and enjoy a morning walking tour of the city and Diamond Center (optional tour of Masada and the Dead Sea).

Day 12 Haifa ( 1 night)
See the Israeli Museum at Yitzhak Rabin Center, then continue to Caesarea to explore Roman and Crusader ruins. On to Nazareth to visit Mary’s Well, then to Haifa for an evening visit to a Druze Village. Descend by cable car to the grottoes. On to
Nahariya and Acre and the subterranean bazaars recalling the Middle Age, then to Safed and Tiberias.

Day 14 Jerusalem (3 nights)
View the ruins of Capernaum and ascend to the Golan Heights. Then to Katzin and see the multimedia presentation ‘Kesem Hagolan’. Visit Kibbutz Kfar Charuv and lunch. See Bet Shean, the ancient city from the time of King Saul. Continue to ‘golden’ Jerusalem.

Day 15 – 16 Jerusalem
Journey to the Hadassah Medical Center to seethe Chagall Windows and to Yad Vashem, memorial to the Holocaust, then Mount Herzl, the Supreme Court Building, Knesset, and the Shrineof the Book – home of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Enter the Old City and walk the Western Wall. See the Dome of the Rock and Mt. Zion for a visit to the Tomb of King David and Room of the Last Supper. Walk along the Cardo and Herodian Mansions. Follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Evening Sound & Light Show at the Citadel Museum.

Day 17 Tel Aviv
Departure transfer to Ben Gurion Airport to return USA.
