African Elephant Safari & Cruise Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Depart USA – Johannesburg
Bound for Africa!
Day 2. Johannesburg – Arrive Victoria Falls (2 nights)
Your international flight connects in Johannesburg, South Africa before continuing on to Victoria Falls. Once you arrive in Zimbabwe, you are met at the airport by Great Safaris & transferred to Elephant Camp. Enjoy a multi colored sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River, watching out for crocodile and inquisitive hippos. Listen to the roar of the Falls and enjoy a sundowner cocktail as the sun slowly sets.
Day 3. Victoria Falls
This morning explore the impressive Falls on a guided walking tour through the rainforest, learning about the fauna and flora. This afternoon join an elephant interaction.
Days 4-6. Zambezi Queen or Zambezi Princess (3 nights)
This morning transfer to the Kazangula Border of Botswana, to board the Zambezi Queen or the Zambezi Princess. Enjoy the excitement of Africa from the luxury of a renowned cruise vessel. The Zambezi Queen is unique in that it’s a sophisticated, elegant experience that has not lost the essence of all that is African. All inclusive touring while viewing, first hand, the remarkable animals and birdlife of Africa.
The Chobe Princesses Safariboats provide the perfect opportunity to take pleasure in the wildlife and birdlife of the Chobe National Park. There is something incredibly relaxing about cruising on the Chobe River, along the banks of the Chobe National Park, watching the outstanding wildlife and birdlife from the luxury Safariboats. Aboard one of the Safariboats you can cruise over 30 miles of the river and stay overnight in some of the most scenic areas on the Chobe, parking at prime docking sites along the river.
Day 7. Johannesburg (1 night)
Today disembark from the Cruise and head back through the border to Victoria Falls Airport for the flight to Johannesburg and overnight before heading off to Kruger Park tomorrow.
Days 8-10. Kapama Game Reserve (Greater Kruger) (3 nights)
Daily game drives put you within touching distance of lion prides, unpredictable buffalo and herds of elephant. Two game drives each day – with hugely knowledgeable guides. Enjoy the all inclusive hospitality of Camp Jabulani and a join an elephant interaction, the ultimate African experience.
Day 11. Johannesburg and Departure
After a final game drive and breakfast, transfer for your flight back to Johannesburg and connect to home or extend to Cape Town.
